Two sides of my work: creating art, and creating spaces for others.

My practice lives at the edge of art and activation. I work from the body outward through painting, sculpture, sound, and installation, always with the understanding that my own history is shared by many. For years I moved in spaces where people’s voices were buried, including my own. What I found is that the weight of those insecurities wasn’t mine alone; it was collective.

As an artist, I translate survival into material. As a facilitator, I create conditions for others to step forward and risk being seen. My work insists that art is not only a practice of making, but a practice of care: building environments where people recognize themselves, speak with force, and shape new forms of community together.

"The ones who will help artists the most are other artists. This is a place where that help lives."
